when viewing files in a list view while in the 'my videos' for instance. i think it would be great if there was a line or two below the file name with an explanation or production year or other imdb info. this would make the list view appear more like a tv guide listing allow for easier browsing. a simple text file placed in the same location of the file (like icon files) would contain the text for files without imdb info. list and icon views are great, but a more comcast, sky or tvguide approach may make a nicer ui

an example of this view style would be:
traditional:
12 monkeys.avi 700.2
30 days and 30 nights.avi 764.5
"info" view
12 monkeys 700.2
brad pitt sci-fi
time traveler caught in a suspense.....
30 days and 30 nights 764.5
harrison ford comedy
harrison ford in a terrible movie....
this would allow easier browsing and i dont think would require much more coding to make effecient.

this is simular to the request i made for tv shows...
having the show information for episodes viewable.
i think it would be nice to have more view options.
