So I got this device, a 4 gb ram and a 64 gb ssd

now I successfully installed Ubuntu and openelec and here are the problems I face:

Ubuntu:

1. It seems to detect dual monitors are active, it is a pain in the butt to troubleshoot as the dash and login screen doesn't become visible on the TV
   
2. For the love of god someone redirect me a resource that can help me get SMB running so I can Write to my home folder
   
3. No audio, seems strange
   

OpenElec

1. After installing, the NUC after first reboot says no bootable device found but when I select f10 to boot manually it boots.
   

BOTH: need to get remote working. [but that is secondary for now]
