Just wanted to share my insights on my 2820. I run it with bios 0034 with a kingston ssdnow and 4gb ram. I power off all of my electronics with a power switch to save power. I'm having a problem with the 2820 hanging/freezing almost every time after a cold boot. I previously had a acer 3610 ION when I changed to the 2820 my samsung b650 locked washed out and I was forced to change my tvs HDMI black settings. I also now have to turn on the wait for network setting otherwise my library won't show up. The 2820 takes at least 10 seconds longer to boot then my Acer did.

So it wasn't as smooth as I had hoped to change HTPC.
