I just recently purchased the G-Box Midnight MX2 Android Box to be used for our TV in the bedroom. We already had the Apple TV setup in the family room. Every time we run the G-Box the Apple TV will stop running. I've already checked the network settings and there are no conflicts. The Apple TV is hard wired to the router and the G-Box is wireless (temporarily). Is it not possible to run XBMC on different boxes in the same household? Would it better to send the g-box back and setup a sql server and share files?

When you say the AppleTV stops working what do you mean? Loses the network?
Have you tried them the other way round. Gbox wired, AppleTV wired?
