Hello, I am looking at the G-box Midnight MX2 to replace my current Windows XBMC box. I own a Vizio TV that comes with an universal remote, yet not sure if I can use this remote to control the g-box. It is my understanding that the g-box can receive IR commands, but I dont see an entry in any manual for this box (Vizio or Matricom also dont seem to know).
Does the g-box imitate any other set top box in regards to the commands received via IR? can I program another type of device on my universal remote and have similar control to the remote included with the box? I am mostly interested in been able to control XBMC.
