No I'm not. I don't care if it's supported because this is the version I'm using.
Transcoding works absolutely fine in Tvheadend, I can stream directly in various formats such as H264 and VP8 to other applications, VLC, TVhguide, but there is no dialog as there should be, it seems like a bug to me

Without wishing to intervene in someone else's argument, I think it's more of a feature request than a bug... native, production transcoding is relatively recent in tvheadend even if it's been hiding in there for some time, and 3.9.x hasn't even made it to alpha release yet, so it's hardly unsurprising if every desirable feature isn't there yet.

You could set up several different streaming profiles and allocate them to different users, and then change the user as which XBMC (and 12.2 is still firmly that ) connects to the back end. Clumsy, perhaps, but workable...?

Fixed the plugin and link. Working perfect on my FireTV running Kodi and running HTS Tvheadend 3.9.2331~gb85ec59 on an Intel NUC Ubuntu server.
