TVHEADEND TVH addon

Here is the latest Android ARM. I've tested for only a few minutes on my Fire TV.

If tried to Install this add on an my fire TV, but it is telling me something like
"conditions not fullfilled".
Do you have any idea what I can do?

regards sethach
You're most likely using an incompatible version of Kodi.
I've built the latest (and most likely final) version of the addon for Gotham (0.9.7). I thought I would manage to get a QEMU environment going for Raspberry Pi builds but I couldn't get it to work reliably so someone else will have to provide builds for that platform.

Linux 32-bit builds are also missing since I don't have a 32-bit machine at the moment.
Feature Request:
(or can I tweak with Keymaps ?)

When hitting Page up / Page Down - the EPG does not act like a proper EPG.
I expect it to skip forward / back 24Hrs not just scroll up / down the EPG page.

Anyone tweaked this to proper intuitive EPG behavior ?

well, that behavior sounds about rigth to me Smile you can use the colored buttons to scroll through the timeline.

and yes, it is configurable by editing the keymaps.
Please explain these colored buttons as it related to EPG navigation, I have none on my remote (Logitech Harmony One).

Thats why a 24Hrs skip is important to me.
I can use the direction buttons to navigate around the EPG so the Page Up / Down behaviour at the moment is just duplication and useless.

What Key commands skip 24Hrs in the EPG ?

I've got a harmony 600 which does have the colored buttons, so can't really tell you more about, since it are buttons which are red green yellow and blue.

Don't know the commands, and to be honest i think it is a good idea to open a new thread for this. Your question has nothing to do with the plugin itself.
Its mapped to skip forward/back on mce remote
mines set to 12 hours can it be changed to 24 hours
Finally got some time to try and test thise releases but i don't seem to get them to work. I'm using OpenElec 4.2.1 on an Intel NUC system.

Here is the one I complied.

With this version I'm getting the following error:

And after this, the 0.9.3 is activated again.
Strange, maybe I screwed up the build. Either that or I did a mistake while cherrypicking fixes. I'll have a look later and will post new builds if I find anything wrong. I don't have a machine with Gotham to test on at the moment so I've been doing everything blindly so far.
Hello,
I am using self made builds of Kodi Helix RC3, TVHeadend master c6793b3 and TVH Addon Master 59d6e49 . This is built and running on an Intel I5 Sandy bridge desktop computer with latest Arch linux.
I can often see a situation where Kodi freezes when idle. The whole system becomes frozen I can launch no new apps I can only work with the apps which are open at the time of freeze. When the system is frozen like this the CPU usage increases. I am unable to kill kodi.bin process and the only workaround is to reboot the system. I am suspecting this has something to do with the PVR functionality and / or this addon because when I am using kodi without PVR i can't reproduce this. I have said this is mostly happening on startup but I have also seen it occassionally happening when Kodi finishes playing a movie and it justs sits there without me doing something then this freeze sometimes kicks in.
I do have idle scanning enabled in tvheadend. tvheadend fails to resolve my CA newcard server hostname so I have recently entered its IP address instead of its hostname into the tvheadend config.
The kodi.log from such a freeze session does not survive the reboot so I don't really know how to go about finding the cause. Has someone experienced something similar?

Greetings

Peter
Could someone please provide win32 builds? Smile
heh, shame on me I haven't posted about my freezes earlier. Since yesterday I have rebooted machine about 3 times and I haven't seen this freeze. Unfortunatelly I haven't yet found what's causing it so this is all just a coincidence.

Thanks anyway for everything you are guiys doing and happy christmass
Sorry for the double posting. Here is an update on my freezing issue. It has not been solved by it-self as I'd hoped. Today morning I have played with various builds of tvheadend and hts addon and what I'm afraid is that my issue goes away after reverting Pull Request #58. Unfortunatelly I don't understand the code enough to say this makes sense. I have just been trying to get rid of that freezing I've mentioned earlier by experimenting with various builds. Also I don't want to sound offensive. If you guys Adam and Negge thing this is a good attempt at cleaning and improving the code could you kindly try to take a look at it to say whether what I am experiencing might have something to do with this pull request code please?

I do have a new issue completelly unrelated to tvh addon though. I'm running Kodi in a Gnome 3.14 session on up to date arch linux. When Kodi is playing in windowed mode all is well however as soon as I switch to fullscreen mode video starts to stutter badly and I need to go back to windowed mode. I have never used full screen mode before because with Gotham and older XBMC releases it was inpossible to use keyboard for switching to another app when XBMC was playing in full screen mode. With Kodi Helix this has changed and I can now choose the display to position Kodi on even when running inside Gnome session. I've experimented with full screen mode just today. I need to research it better.
