it should not be needed

try and use kai without this xml file :o (ie rename or delete it, reboot xbmc then try)

yeah but what im saying is:

if it works without, then why keep updating it, then we can just remove it from cvs

are there any drawbacks you can see to run without this file ?

i use to delete the kai-vectors.xml so mechassault would work properly.

i just deleted it to see if ghost recon advanced warfighter would resolve and it did not. though it doesn't show up in kai's games page either, but the game save is there.

so unless there's something screwey with my system, i need to have those entries added for mine to be able to play from kai.

maybe the code to resolve an unknown id isn't working right?

what is
Quote:// if its a game title, do we have it in our local mapping file
refering to in cguiwindowbuddies::queryinstalledgames() the kai-vectors.xml? if so then maybe the call to ask kai to resolve it is not working right for this game.

these are the only ones i could figure out that were not created when i delete the xml file.

edit: i notice even with me adding ghost recon 3 graw, when selecting this one on the games window. you are not automatically taken to the arena. so maybe the problem is with xlink?

i dont know how that works exactly, but it's probably not a bad idea for them to have these id's also. true

if that's the case, what's the status on the vector file ?
and you reporting new id's to them in future instead maybe

meanmf over at team xlink has updated the necessary database or file, so you should be able to remove kai-vectors.xml from cvs.
