I made it (by cropping a large image off the web). Grab the preview and thumb versions here...

Thanks for making these images available. Your Home Screen XBMC icon is exactly what I have envisioned it to be. Looks great! Can't wait until I can free up time to do this at home on my Fire TV.

it gives me an indication that they were both pushed (speed/ size) but when i disconnect my ftv and reconnect to reboot, classic tv still has its old icon

Did you first root your FTV via tr.apk? (You need to sideload it, and launch it, which after applying root, reboots FTV).

Is anyone else out there having issues playing back larger media files? A sizable portion of my 1080p content causes XBMC with MediaCodec on to crash, with decode errors in logcat.
Turning it off results in hanging, or hearing the audio while the UI hangs, among other weirdness
All files in question are encoded in h264 in MKV containers. So far I've tried both Gotham 13.0, Gotham 13.1, and the latest nightly, all the the exact same results. Also tried sending the file over SMB, and over USB after rooting the FTV.
If there isn't some sort of easy workaround I'm missing , I'd be happy to provide logs and more info

Are we talking 10gb Rips or more like 30gb rips?

adbFire: First of all, thanks for trying this out.
Some folks reported problems with windows adb starting - I think I discovered a bug in the win setup routine. I'd appreciate it if anyone who had a problem with the adb server not starting could try this:
http://d-h.st/ZUI
It's a zipped folder, just unzip it to your desktop.

Hey everyone, So I have been trying to introduce my parents to XBMC, and they like it for the most part and so now I need to get them a box to run it and I was thinking the FTV, a good entry level box for US$99. Their library (Which I'm still ripping, ugh...) is mostly DVDs and a few Blu-Ray Discs all encoded into h.264 with handbrake. What I wanted to know was if I set it up as an XBMC only system, you know have it ignore the FTV launcher, would it still be able to use android apps like prime and Netflix?? If it can't thats alright though it would help to sell it to them at least until (if ever) that stuff becomes a proper addon. I have been doing a lot of Googling and I would think it could sense it is just like regular android just with a custom skin but I just want to verify.
Thanks
Thanks

Works on my end.

Neither, some of the files I'm trying are only ~1GB, but they're shorter episodic stuff with higher bitrates
Here's a logcat snip of what I'm seeing: http://pastebin.com/9cEMgYA8
Note the hardware decoding errors. This time I had only libstagefright enabled. A similar set of decode errors happens with MediaCodec, and XBMC actually crashes, instead of just hanging
