Reverted back to may 8 and audio menu works fine again.

I'm using amber skin.

Confirmed. I switched also back to the build of 8 may. I guess we will need to pauze updating until a amber update is released.Confused
Update all (in addons), reboots the PI

When in addons, updates available and we try to update manually all it just reboots.
Only one by one works.

Yeah I guess so, not going back to Confluence atm. Well lets hope Amber Devs sees this aswell.

I can confirm, and have reported this to a while back. Smile
Updating one by one works fine, update all crashes xbmc.

Minor issue if you have autoupdates disabled or are inpatient.

Not likely to be a Pi specific issue, so best to report it in a general xbmc forum.

Best to report this on the Amber thread. It will likely affect all nightly build users, not just Raspberry Pi.

Yes for me is trivial, only noticed because tried to force 2 pending updates. But usually autoupdates solve this Wink

For now only had the scenario on the Pi, so I can't confirm if also happens on other platforms.
At least in Windows nightly Update All don't crashes XBMC, so probably is a OpeneElec main release problem, or this release problem.
As for me is a minor bug I still didn't tested with other Milhouse releases to see when the problem doesn't happens.

Hi,

Just updated from the 10.5. (512) build and automatic 3D switching seems broken. All 3d movies are in xxx.3d-h-sbs.xx or xxx-tab.xxx renamed and in previous build works like charm. Switched back to build from 10.5. and 3d auto switch is fine...

Anyone can confirm?

J.

EDIT

After a new update to 513 , 3D auto switch works! Strange!!!

Good evening. In the last few builds I've had problems with dvdplayer: the image freezes for a few seconds when playing a file (just tried mkv), audio is fine (I've been downgrading and OpenELEC-RPi.arm-Milhouse-20140426044857-r18266-g36251c3 is the last that works fine, OpenELEC_Helix-RPi.arm-Milhouse-20140503235917-r18335-gb2d3626 is quite good but the former goes better)

It is almost the same problem I had in the past, see my post (this time I've no tried skip forward/back, I'm sorry):
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...6&page=223
Somehow it was solved.
Thanks and regards
Good Morning,

I'm a new tester so hi. Up until yesterday I was a raspbian user but I decided to try OpenElec. I was a bit disappointed to discover my uDac and stereo had disappeared so hunted around for a way back to mpd and alsa. Ran this version up, enabled rsync, havent bothered with mpd yet as I feel I should give xbmc a few weeks to get used to the interface.

So far everything is perfect thanks!

I sample from a file that shows the problem is useful. I'm not seeing the issues with the files I've tested.

Can you confirm if the build after the one you posted was the last good one:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1693417

is definitely bad? I can't see any obvious commit that would have broken it.

  3. kernel 3.14.y:

Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
Before I take the plunge, can anyone tell me:
- Should gotham ready plugins all work with Helix at this stage?
- Will anything change or break that will give me heartburn if I have to revert to openelec 4.0.1/Gotham?

I am interested in testing whether the newer ffmpeg has fixed the MP4 chaptering that broke in Gotham.
