OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 (Kodi 14.0)
@popcornmix, @Milhouse

build #1025 is fine. Stuttering is gone.

Thank you so much. Please, let me know where I can send you a lot of beer ^^

P.s.

It'd be nice if someone could test this (see comments from 2 days ago).
Haven't tested stuttering yet, but I get almost 100% CPU with #1025 and fresh .kodi-folder, even in the main-menu it is 100%. If I play a mkv it drops to ~45-50%. Pressing stop to return to the file-list, it goes up to 100% again
The memory-usage is also a little bit high IMO

I'm going to disable this by default starting with the next build, although it will only apply to "fresh" settings. It's currently enabled by default, and causes all sorts of problems with Pi builds.

For anyone that's interested (and also so I can ref this post in future release notes):

Popcornmix could you apply "hack: revert squash: don't update originaldts when marked as invalid" again as i cannot test latest builds without it.

Thanks.

Unfortunately entering additional config settings the pi still doesn't respond after being unused for period of time. I Have also plugged in mce remote and even that doesn't bring it from what it looks like sleep. Unplugging and plugging into different hdmi port makes no difference. If anyone has some suggestions they will be more than welcomed. I will continue with updating to new builds hopefully one of them will fix it.
For me DVD-playback isn't working in the latest builds. Last working build for me was #1018 before the Kodi-rebranding (haven't tried all between but I'm pretty sure it wasn't working since then). Tried renaming .kodi folder and setting it up fresh but had no effect. There isn't even the "Working..." showing up on the bottom right.
Only thing in log I found which is connected to a DVDPlayer Error:

Do you have a debug log? Once the Pi stops responding to the remote, does it still respond to ping/ssh? Even if not, if you restart the Pi the previous debug log should be in /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.old.log. Obviously if the Pi is accessible via ssh then upload the current log (/storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log). If it's too large for pastebin, you may need to upload it to somewhere like dropbox.

13:26:09 47826.339844 T:2661209168  NOTICE: COMXPlayer::CreatePlayers OMXPlayer unsuitable due to dvd menus

Check you have all the video acceleration options enabled, and codec licences (MPEG2 etc. in config.txt) configured.

If that isn't the problem, can you upload a full debug log of your IFO not playing with the latest build, and also a debug log of when it *does* play with build #1018, for comparison purposes.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
Codes are set and acceleration is activated.
Here a log from working #1018:
