[Project] Dual Audio Output support (Nexus/Matrix/Krypton/Jarvis/Isengard/Helix/...)
I downloaded the windows binary and replaced the files in /kodi/ (whatever the default install path is, I forget) with the ones in the zip. When I open kodi, though, I don't get the Dual Audio option in audio. Any ideas what I'm missing?

For anyone interested, LibreELEC 8.2.5 DA build for the Raspberry Pi 2 & 3:

EDIT: Using dual audio with movies results in audio distortion, this build is not stable

Unfortunately no, not with this patch.

What you want would be more complicated.
Sorry to revive old post... been looking the same thing as what mettbrot's asking but for different purpose.
I'm making video lyrics that has stereo(Left & right) audio PLUS click-track that I put on secondary audio track..... my goal is so that I can just play that video lyric through kodi wifi control and it can output stereo audio to my mixer PLUS click track to another mixer....

It'll be awesome if this can work....  Sad what I need is to bassically adding "source audio" to 2nd audio options...

help plz Music

Alright folks, I finally had time to set up my build machine again, so here's the 8.2.5 version.

Patch file (needed only if you want to build your own): https://www.dropbox.com/s/vc6842fmgzcr06...patch?dl=0

Note that I haven't tried it yet, will do soon. But hopefully it should be good Smile

Compiled Dual Audio for Kodi 17.6 on Windows. Just copy and replace contents of .zip directly into Kodi install folder.

After watching a movie and listening to a few albums I have encountered no issues, the build appears stable.

@dgege

So much thanks!
May I ask you for a big favour? I can't compile my own version of LE, but I'm using one older nVidia ION based htpc which requires legacy nvidia drivers. It is a great htpc with special RCA Stereo output for amp.
There is a legacy nVidia driver versuon of Libreelec. Could you please build me one with that version and your Dual Audio patch included, for x86_64?
It is located here: https://github.com/sammy2142/LibreELEC.tv
Thread over here: https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread/7291-l...#post44467

So much thanks!

OK, I tried to build the nVidia legacy Libreelec, and apply the patch, but encountered this problem:

Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|diff --git a/system/settings/darwin.xml b/system/settings/darwin.xml
|index ea70c1a..1d1fe4b 100644
|--- a/system/settings/darwin.xml

File to patch:

What should I do to correctly build LE and apply the patch?

OK, so I put some time in this, and I built the nVidia legacy version with Dual Audio support. After some trial and error, I managed to build the LE 8.2.5 version, hopefully everything should be fine.

It is still untested, ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP of your system. I would be very grateful if you could report back on this release. Btw, this is very likely the end of nVidia legacy support, as with LE 9.x version and Kodi v18 there are some xorg and mesa changes that are no longer compatible with legacy nVidia drivers. However, if you are using a legacy, but still completely fine nVidia system, you can use the 8.2.5 version.

You can download it from here: LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2.5-gurabli_nvidia_legacy_dualaudio.img.gz
