you won't be able to boot the USB stick, since the stock legacy BIOS isn't functional. Removing the screw doesn't do anything except allow you to modify/replace the firmware, which you have expressed reluctance towards

if you mean via the remote key, the functionality is determined by XBMC's settings - either power off or S3 suspend.

then I'm not sure what to say, other than there are lots of other hardware options available. It's not like I'm flipping random bits, everything is compiled from source, and is available for anyone to examine/build themselves. I'm just using updated branches of the same open source projects Google uses for the stock firmware, with a few tweaks.
Thx for answer, didnt mean to sound ungratefull in anyway against all your Hard work, im quite impressed since i dont got skills nowhere near that.
Thx for clearing up the need for modified bios and the screw just unlocks firmware changes. Got a good deal on a chromebox and will give it a go tommorow.
