My keyboard no longer works when pressing CTRL+D in order to get back into recovery mode. I'm also dual booting straight into openELEC so I can't even get into the ChromeOS. When I try to press esc for the boot menu, the keyboard doesn't pick it up. I've tried 4 different keyboards and none are working.
if your keyboard worked before for [CTRL-D], then your timing is wrong - it needs to be before the black legacy BIOS screen. Pressing ESC for the boot menu isn't going to work since your restored the broken stock legacy BIOS. Even if it did, it wouldn't help you boot ChromeOS, which is what you need to do.
