Transparency! for Kodi nightly builds
#1
Exclamation
note: if you want to use development version of T! you need to run a very recent nightly build of Kodi.

general info:
the development version of Transparency! is available @ T! GIT

why would i use a development version of this skin
most important reason...because i need people to test things before i update the skin in the addon repo.
and second...you get to use all the new features first. :-)

the development version gets updated a few times every week (time permitted)
and only after things have been tested thoroughly, changes will be added to the addon repo.
it can take anywhere between a week to a month before new features will be copied from the development version to the addon repo version.

please test and report issues concerning all the new features in the skin!

disclaimer:
  • if you want to use the development version of T! you better make sure you'll also run a very recent nightly build of xbmc.
  • do not install the T! development version on top of your existing Transparency! skin.
  • do not keep two copies of T! in your addons directory, so delete the stable version of Transparency! first.

Hi Ronie,

It's great you're keeping up with all developments in the XBMC nightly builds! I am using both the most recent nightly builds of XBMC and Transparency!, very happy with how things are progressing.

I have two small (?) favours to ask:
- When scraping for subtitles, the number of results found is not displayed in Transparency! It is there in Confluence. Could you add it?
- Could you add a flag for X265 files? Playback is not yet supported by XBMC, but I have some in my library.

Thanks in advance, keep up the good work!

Cleared everything within transparency-xbmc folder
Svn commit with tortoise svn from https://github.com/ronie/skin.transparency/
Have several folders in the main folder branches, tags, trunk. Is that OK?

Doubt that is the reason.
Installed Alpha 2 and keys are there.

Managed to get latest build working with GIT. Transparency (version 7.1.2) now shows virtual keyboard correctly. However, keypresses from remote (sms style) are not shown in virtual keyboard. They are registered (when I press done string is searched) but not displayed on screen. Same with confuence skin.

BTW. What's the commad to update with GIT. Git commit, rescan?
