I was reading a thread with this same title that was dated 2011. I create 3 categories in my main menu: movies, concerts and Others. I tried to add to each option the correct folder but all that Im getting is everything mixed in the same folder (movies). Would like to know to specify each folder to each category... how can I do that?; and last one: how can I choose the way that the movies shows in the screen everytime I hit the movies option?. Maybe too basic but need to know this to keep going .... thanks in advance

It's probably best to start out by playing with Smartplaylists as already suggested, so once you have one which does what you want you can then inspect the xml logic for them, once you understand the xml you then may want to consider moving onto Custom Video_nodes (wiki)
