Release Last.FM Scrobbler
(2015-09-12, 15:29)Peekstra Wrote: Yes, I also constantly get this error and no songs are submitted. Maybe the API problems at last.fm are back?

EDIT: fixed by deleting the plugin's settings.xml and configuring it again.Big Grin

Hey there, could you point me in direction of this settings.xml file?
I'm using Kodi (OSMC) on a Raspberry pi2 and the file system I think might be different..

I'm a bit confused anyway because I thought last.FM was built into Kodi.. And didn't have its own add-on folder as such.

I've located on my pi what I believe to be the most likely directory area, but not seeing any settings.xml file.
I've navigated to: HOME > OSMC >.KODI > USERDATA, as below in the screenshot. Can anyone assist?

thanx for trying, but that's not a Debug Log ;-)

as for your quick fix:
HOME > OSMC >.KODI > USERDATA > addon_data > service.scrobbler.lastfm > settings.xml

i suspect you only have to delete this line from the file:
<setting id="lastfmkey" value="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" />

Hi,

Can you tell me if this add-on will work when using Kodi as an UPnP server (to stream to a network player) as opposed to playing music on it directly?

Many thanks!

nope, it'll only work for music played in kodi.

Hi!

I haven't found information elsewhere on this problem, so I'm mentioning it here.

All my scrobbles from Kodi appear on last.fm with the track title as artist (e.g. 2 Minutes to Midnight - 2 Minutes to Midnight instead of Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight).

All my music is tagged very carefully, so I guess the Last.fm update broke something else.

The only scrobbles here that are correct come from FoxyScrobbler on Firefox or Simple Last.fm Scrobbler on Android.

Is this a known issue?

Thank you for your time!

are you using a kodi jarvis build?
there was a bug recently in some of those build that causes this issue.
updating to a recent nightly build should fix it.

if this doesn't apply to you, please post a Debug Log.

I am indeed using Jarvis Alpha 4.
