Seeing the same thing with version 0.0.2... reverted back to 0.0.1, and all is good again, though.. So, that's something!

I installed this addon in version 0.0.1 but it automatically updated to the new version 0.0.2. So in the next few hours/days your version will be updated too and the problem will appears again I think Huh

Indeed, that did happen.. So, I just took it a step further and disabled auto-updating of addons. That learned it!

So where are the log files then (using pastebin.com)?

Here's mine:

I turned debugging on and played five mp3 files from my NAS. Paste expires in a week.

As a temporary solution I downloaded 0.0.1 and edited the version number in addon.xml to 0.0.3.

You will find my debug XBMC log here: http://pastebin.com/RivhyrAL
I hope this will help to resolve this issue. Thank you for your support.

Just did it too. Works fine now.

Version 0.0.2 not working for me. Linux, Gotham 13.1-beta2. I haven't tried the earlier version.

You can find debug-log here http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=216690. There's only one song being played, though.

EDIT: Tried 0.0.1 and scrobbling is working with that. Love-button with Metropolis-skin doesn't work but gives this error in the logs:
Code:
20:30:30 T:139943302785344   ERROR: Keymapping error: no such action 'lastfm.love' defined

EDIT2: I tried this also with Spotlight, a Spotify add-on. Scrobbling doesn't work with tracks played from Spotify. I don't know if it should? It would be nice if it worked so each add-on wouldn't need to implement their own scrobbling.

Another one reporting that v0.0.2 doesn't work. Nothing in the logs at all.

It's enough to change the version number to 0.0.2 to prevent auto-updating. That way you'll get the real 0.0.3 version automatically when it's released.

EDIT: VanZan commented later in the thread that if you keep the version number at 0.0.2 you have to delete the real 0.0.2 from packges (addons/packages/service.scrobbler.lastfm-0.0.2.zip) before installing the fake one from zip.

I think it also works if you change the fake 0.0.2 zip-package name to something else than the original, like service.scrobbler.lastfm-fake-0.0.2.zip. I think I did that and that is why I didn't notice this before.

Hm that didn't work for me. I uninstalled the real 0.0.2, downloaded 0.0.1 and renamed the version in addon.xml. But still no scrobbling. Did I miss something?
