after some research about that error message, it could be adressed to windows media player, try to start windows media player once. i guess windows media player need to register something when started for the first time, AutoXbmc uses windows media player ActiveX Component to preview videos and mp3´s. maby that will fix it.

I don't have the option, its a media player unbundled version of windows. Which would explain the issue
