im having an issue where Perfect player isnt downloading all the guide info. In Simple PVR, it downloads all the guide info, but using the same info, it only gets a portion in Perfect Player.

Use "EPG assign mode" to assign EPG to channels without EPG.

So I tried the assign mode and this is what I get. https://imgur.com/a/z5Z4J
I watched the video and it shows to put the EPG as a .gz file, but i don't know how since I have to have a username and password after xmltv

XMLTV is supported to be GZ, ZIP or plain (like in your case).

Looks, like many EPG channels are present. So what's the problem?
If you still have any issues, you can enter your EPG URL in browser, save download EPG as XML file. Then send file to me for testing.

Maybe I'm missing what an EPG is. How does it show you what is on? Like Guide info./Show info.

I tried your EPG: assigned ~10 channels to random EPG channels and programmes showing fine.
You should describe your problem more concrete - what channels don't show EPG, etc.

I am having an issue with the latest version
Playlist and epg are set up properly. Sometimes when it refreshes the playlist or epg it checks all the option in the advanced area: "Epg assign mode, download logos, etc..."
The problem is when it does that, it no longer shows the epg data until I manually go and uncheck them all

Any ideas why its doing this?

1) Where are you install the app from?
2) What is your device?
3) How about the other checkbox options in settings? Are they also all checked?
4) What exect steps you need to do to reproduce this issue?
5) A small video or a set of screenshots showing the issue could be helpful

Hi,

I am using your app on an Android Box (Mi Box) and was wondering is there an easy way to navigate the EPG with a remote? I know I can hold the left or right arrow button on my remote but hard to getting information quickly.

I know with a mouse, I could hover over to the EPG and the arrow buttons would appear. Unfortunately, I don't always have access to a keyboard.

Hi,

I have a android box V88. PP plays well on HW+ but i can't turn subtitles, they are DVB.
Nickman when are you planing to add subtitles ? Please, with out them it is not Perfect player.
