I'm using a DLNA player to select a movie file on my NAS that has a .srt file with it. When I choose XMBC to play it, it wont show the subtitles. All the others do automatically (MX, BS, Mobo etc)

I really like XMBC player so can someone please tell me how to get it to play the .srt file?

Have the menu displaying while playing, move to the Audio Icon and from there you should be able to select & turn on/off the subtitle file.

If you mean external subtitle over UPNP support on Ghotam, I have same problem.
