hello

I have problem when play some mp3 files via analog connection, it is come poping and cracking sound. When I play FLAC files is OK, or if I set to WASAPI HDMI is also OK. The problem is only with mp3 and WASAPI anaglo connection. This problem pop out when I upgrade from Frodo 12.3 to Gotham 13.1, in Frodo with same setting was OK.

My sistem:
Windows 7 32bit
Gotham 13.1
CPU: AMD ATHLON II X4 635
GPU: AMD RADEON HD 6670
Sound card: ASUS Essence ST
htpc via hdmi to yamaha reciver rx-v3900 via hdmi to samsung lcd
htpc via RC to yamaha

Audio settings:
Audio output device: WASAPI: ASUS essence ST
Enable passthrough: WASAPI: HDMI - AMD HDMI OUTPUT

Could be clipping, does reducing the xbmc volume control have any effect?

yes it sounds like clipping but if change xbmc volume the problem is still here
