Can't install 13.1?
#1
Hi!

I am having trouble upgrading my xbmcbuntu install to 13.1.

I was using the Gotham beta previously and followed the instructions to switch to the final version, but every time I install with sudo apt-get install xbmc xbmc-bin it is pulling in the following version:

Code:
Get:1 http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu/ quantal/main xbmc-bin i386 2:13.0~git20140506.0839-gotham-0quantal [13.3 MB]

The version reports itself as 13.0 in System Info.

Am I doing something wrong? As far as I can tell the unstable repo is completely removed from my system:

Code:
sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:team-xbmc/unstable
You are about to remove the following PPA from your system:
Repository for pre-release versions of XBMC. These builds are UNSTABLE, use at your own risk.
More info: https://launchpad.net/~team-xbmc/+archive/unstable
Press [ENTER] to continue or ctrl-c to cancel removing it

Error: 'deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/unstable/ubuntu quantal main' doesn't exist in a sourcelist file
Error: 'deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/unstable/ubuntu quantal main' doesn't exist in a sourcelist file

Thanks in advance

Please use the forum search. Quantal is out of support by ubuntu since End of May.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I think its because quantal is no longer supported by Canonical.
