Dolby TrueHD audio cuts off for a second every minute or so on any and every TrueHD encoded title.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti supports TrueHD and shows in Windows 8.1 audio properties using current driver.
Onkyo TX-NR616 also supports TrueHD and indicates TrueHD in use.
Connections are 1.4a HDMI male to male from GPU to AVR and AVR to Samsung UN55C8000.
All other formats like DTS, DTSHDMA, DD, ect. are perfect.
The audio drop only occurs using XBMC.
If I select an external player via XBMC menu option, the audio is perfect with no drops.
If I quit XBMC and play through Windows the audio is perfect.
I assume XBMC still has a problem or I need to do something strange like swap my HDMI cables for HDMI/DVI?
Any suggestions or further requested information are welcomed from those successfully listening to Dolby TrueHD problem free.
