My remote control for Asrock ION 330HT seems to work fine for everything except turning the HTPC on and off. Any ideas on how to solve it?

It worked on the old XBMCfreak live cd for Asrock, but hasn't worked on my two last installations: XBMCubuntu (Frodo) and currently Openelec (Gotham).

CIR in bios is enabled.

Thats a strange one I have gone through Dharma, Frodo, and Gotham and the remote as always worked. With Dharma there was some extra drivers required but im sure since frodo with fresh install its worked without any change.

Strange. Maybe the remote is broken? I have been wondering to buy a Logitech Harmony Ultimate... Hope that will work better then.
