Release Black Glass Nova 2.0 - Gotham
#16
(2014-07-16, 22:10)Me-- Wrote: Hello, I try your skin (v2.0) and I have the same problem as "johnny_swindle" with v1.0 when I add a timer from EPG:

Ok i found it!

The problem is that the NextPvr add-on uses the "RecordPrefs.xml" file for recording, the same file used by WMC add-on and there's a conflict.
So i created a new file called "RecordPrefs.xml.NPVR". If you are using NextPvr, this file must be renamed into "RecordPrefs.xml" overwriting the original file used for WMC.
The file is available in the latest revision on Github. Can you test it please?

this sounds like a very unwanted situation. better get both those add-ons respecting each other and use a single way of doing things.
this will likely break other skins as well.

Ok, i made the window larger and fixed the issue on focus.

In fact there's no skin supporting NextPVR natively.
I checked every pvr add-on and the only ones conflicting are pvr.nextpvr and pvr.wmc. The conflicting file is "RecordPrefs.xml".

?

Thanks

Skin isnt showing the file specific info on openelec until I actually watch the file and exit out of it. These files are all m2ts, works perfectly on my win7 machine.

Thanks

Is there any other skin which correctly shows the info in openelec?

Thanks

Can you please post a screenshot, just to make sure of the screen where the issue occurs?

Thanks

In this screenshot i can see that the media info logos in the bottom center of the screen are missing. Is this the information you are missing?

Correct, it doesn't show up here or in the movie info submenu until AFTER I start the movie and then stop the movie, then it show up fine everywhere you would expect to see it. It always shows up fine on the few MKV files that I have (concerts).

Thanks

In the latest revision on Github i made a change to fix this issue only for the icon and fanart view. Can you please test it?

The involved file is "View_57_58_59_Showcase.xml" inside the "1080i" folder. You can replace this file with the new one on Github without downloading the skin from scratch.

Thanks

Working mostly now, it doesn't add the HD logo on the left until after you play the file.
