Hello.

The Movie Database stopped downloading information about movies and TV series yesterday. I see that it scans the movie folder and recognizes new movies but does not download information about them. Even if I go directly to the movie folder and I am sending a scan to the library I will get the answer no information was found. A few weeks ago I had the same problem, I reinstalled KODI. However, I do not want to reinstall KODI every few weeks. This is happening on my Nvidia Shield TV.
I installed Uniwersal Movie scraper on the test but it does not download any information either.

On my computer with windows 10 x64 and KODI installed, all videos are added correctly.

What could be the reason?

Your labelling looks wrong to me as you have things after the year. eg N, Multi, PL.

These are the names of folders. In the folders, the names of the films are correctly described and the KODI has always checked after the names of the films, not the folders.

I am at a loss to explain what is going wrong with this scrape here.

Every episode is correctly identified by the scanner, but then the scraper becomes confused and allocates Episode 1 to episodes 6-12.

Any idea? Has there been a change at TheMovieDB?

Using Kodi v17.6 and scraper version 2.0.7 scrapes the show correctly.

If is possible I want a feature.

Add an option to get the ratings from https://www.filmaffinity.com as imdb or tmdb
Filmaffinity is the reference web for spanish user and we prefer his rating instead of imdb or tmdb.

There is a scrapper from filmaffinity that get his rating, if this is helpfull to you:

I understand that it is a feature that will not be used by all users, only from spanish user, if it is very expensive I comprehend that it is not implemented

Is this ever going to be fixed to pull all the episode thumbs? v3.0.5 worked perfectly, pulling all the available thumbs but 3.1.0 broke this feature and now it only pulls a single episode thumb per episode.

Not in the foreseeable future. The developer has been MIA since well before Christmas, and no-one has heard from him. I would like to think the next time TMDB make a change that breaks the scraper he will magically appear.

That's a shame, multiple episode thumbs is one of the best features of TMDB and the reason I'm still sticking with scraper version 3.0.5.... but I just know one day 3.0.5 is going to stop working and I'll be force to update

3.0.5 works perfectly
3.0.6 pulls all episode thumbs but doesn't pull the cast 
3.1.0 breaks both episode thumbs and cast

Nope there's no public discussion. It's been done due to various issues.

Both the new v2 API which they have forced everyone to use by turning off the v1 API, and the new website they launched both have regressions from the old API & website. If you look at the TVDB forum you'll see long standing issues are getting no response of any of the devs and it seems to be left to a few mods to carry the can.

In addition connectivity in the last year has become increasingly unreliable meaning the site is frequently down.

Thanks jjd-uk and Karellen. Is there any problem in switching a source's scraper? I have lots of tv shows already scraped with TVDB, if I change the scraper do I need to re-scrape or is it ok to just add new stuff as it comes?

If you scraped with TVDB, then your database holds the <episodeguide> from TVDB, which will not work for TheMovieDB. You need to Refresh the show. No need to refresh the episodes. Once you run the Refresh the new <episodeguide> URL will be downloaded, and you can continue adding new episodes.
