This is a Kodi video add-on for Science Friday science videos.
Science Friday is your trusted source for news and entertaining stories about science. Started as a radio show, created in 1991 by host and executive producer Ira Flatow. Since then, weve grown into much more: We produce award-winning digital videos and publish original web content covering everything from octopus camouflage to cooking on Mars. SciFri is brain fun, for curious people.

The add-on is available in the official Kodi repository for Kodi v17 "Krypton" and later.

I think you will need to install the author's xbmc.module.xbmcutil from the same git. Ie https://github.com/willforde/script.module.xbmcutil
If I have helped you or increased your knowledge, click the 'thumbs up' button to give thanks :) (People with less than 20 posts won't see the "thumbs up" button.)

Add-on has been updated to add a small few features and some bug fixes. And some speed improvements as well.
P.S. I am always looking for ways to improve this add-on if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks. I would have updated it sooner but was quite busy till recently. I was thinking in adding a new feature for the next update where you can go through the site archive.
e.g. List the videos or audio files for a giving month of a giving year.

On RPi2 running Openelec 5.0.8 Kodi 14.2 the ScienceFriday add-on fails to launch due to severe HTTP Error 404 File not found when accessing http://www.sciencefriday.com/about/about...riday.html

I downloaded and installed from zip xmbc.util.xmbcutil and rebooted but launch still fails on Error 404.

Just had a look at the site and it has totally changed design. I will have to rewrite the add-on.

Add-on has finally been updated. Works with the new site.
Unfortunately it uses pages now to display everything instead of just one long list.

Code:
Version 2.1.0 2016-01-04
- Added option to disable url caching from the add-on settings.
- Rewrite addon to work with site changes
