(2015-08-14, 13:59)derekz Wrote: hi

I have a problem with this plug-in (Kodi 15.0)
I have total reinstall Kodi and now if I click on browse video (italian: "cose da vedere") I obtain: unknow kind "

If you explain how, i can post a log.

Which language did you select for YouTube? Not the language of KODI...the language of the YouTube addon...I have a suspicion Smile

Hi !

I do not know since when, but I can not watch youtube video from the addon. I can connect using the two codes on the youtube site and I can go to my subscription but nothing happens when I click on a video.

Here my log but i don't see anything...
http://pastebin.com/q4VxURPQ

It's the last version (5.1.7)
HTPC - Nvidia Shield TV
Desktop - Homemade : 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-11600K @ 3.90GHz | 32GB | AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT | SSD 500Go + 750Go + HDD 500Go | --W10--
NAS - Synology DS414 : [2*8To WD Red Plus (Raid 1)] + [2*6To WD Red (Raid 1)]
KODI 19.3
Any idea why I am defaulting to PLAYLISTS only in my subscriptions?
Normally I would see PLAYLISTS and then listed below were the newest videos.
I have signed out / signed in two days in a row.

If this is not a known issue, and I have not seen anyone else asking, then I need to check my actual skin settings.
I have a new install of Kodi Isengard running on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I am seeing two problems with this addon. First, if I Browse Channels and then select a category, I get a message that says:

Exception in ContentProvider
Unknown kind "

This seems to happen with any category I select. Also, if I try to search on anything, I get a message "Daily Limit Exceeded" which is weird because I haven't viewed any other YouTube videos today. I don't know of anything that I could do that would affect the first issue, but the second one seems to be related to the fact that in the Settings | System | Internet Access I have set up a SOCKS5 proxy. If I tun that off, then the "Daily Limit Exceeded" message goes away. But what is odd about that is I use the same SOCKS5 proxy with my desktop computer and I can search on YouTube from there with no problem. Everything else in Kodi seems to work with the SOCKS5 proxy enabled, it is just the YouTube addon search function that fails. And, disabling the proxy does not make the "Exception in ContentProvider" message go away.

I don't understand the problem. At least provide a screenshot and a Debug log (wiki) Wink

Don't compare the browser with the YouTube API - two complete different things. I know of the limit exceeded problem. The addon has to many users for the API. I've to do some more optimizations...but I can't tell when this will happen.

All other plugins are working (eg. Internet)
Only the Youtube plugin throes a fit....?
Browsing to the Youtube site with my browser works fine.
I did clean out some cache files yesterday, could that has something to do with it ?

Here's another Log file with debug on.
I have copied everything downwards from when the word youtube first show up:

I don't understand the problem either.

It stopped doing it right after I posted. That's quick action there, Bro.

Alcohol was NOT a factor nor involved.
I'm using kodi 15.0+youtube on Windows 10.
In some case I have buffering problem (if I use Chrome is always perfect).

Why?
