I've started to get the same problem since deciding to try out the kodi 16 beta 1 yesterday.
was not happening when i had previous kodi versions installed so maybe kodi 16 is making youtube addon do something different to how it worked in prior builds?

I'm having the same problem in Jarvis beta 2; I can no longer sort by date.

Note that individual youtube videos still show their dates in the media view, so the youtube addon is still getting them.

Hello. I have an odd question and maybe this might interest Bromix. I like the Live TV interface. It especially makes it easy to chose and switch content while it is still playing. I think for instance this would be handy for choosing a vid from a playlist if all subscriptions are shown as channels.

Can't test the video...is geo-ip-blocked...please paste logs in the future only via pastebin.com or similar services (read the forum rules )

you can try to play any video from VEVO (like the new one from Adele) and check if it works.

This doesn't include the fix for the sort methods in Jarvis, because in my opinion, sorting is somehow broken in Jarvis beta.

You can see when you are in the Youtube main window, at the top, it says:
Sort by: Date

then, when you click on an item, My Subscriptions (for example), it says:
Sort by: Playlist

maybe you have to change how the directory is listed?
