Release YouTube (IMPORTANT - READ FIRST POST)
Works like a charm, thanks a lot!

Using Openelec, I've found the IP in the system informations. I've open a terminal, hit "ssh root@IP" (psswd: openelec) I've removed the folder about youtube in ~/.kodi/userdata/, uninstalled the current addon from interface, and restarted.

Then I've download the link on github given above (some problem with wget, use curl -Ok https://github.com/Kolifanes/plugin.vide...1.20.1.zip to get it working)

I restarted again and all is working back again, thanks again!

I see one hummingbird video (which pretends like it is playing but only displays a brownish color when I click on it) then a bunch of really old streams that are long since dead (and throw errors if I try to watch)

There is a itag 91 error, it is not defined in youtube addon. Try again and then you can see live video.
I cannot find about itag 91, it may undocumented.
Hi parcel, would you be so kind as to expand on this? I got more or less the same experience as sector9 and thought it was normal (with live streams going offline and such). When you say "try again" do you mean trying again to enter Live video or trying again to playback a stream? Is the list updated or not? Thanks in advance. Smile
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first (usually it's enough to follow instructions in the second post).
5.1.20.1 is working perfectly for me on both a Windows 10 installation of Kodi and an OSMC Raspberry Pi 2 version of Kodi. Many thanks to whomever has taken up the task of maintaining this.
Openelec; didn't have to uninstall just remove the folder, install from the zip and validate. Works perfectly.

FYI, no need to ssh just use explorer.
Thumbs Up

https://github.com/Kolifanes/plugin.vide...g/5.1.20.1

If this keys has no limits, we have solved the problem of quota

Thank you very much!

Removed all YT addon folders and dropped this in, works like a charm!
5.1.20.1 works for me, though everything works for me for a few days. The real test is if it will continue to work.
I am using the 5.1.20.1 and a video addon for youtube channels and playlists that I created and I can't get any of the "live streams" to work, it shows all other videos in the channel but it won't show the ones that are "live streams" any ideas?
Great 5.1.20.1 worked also for me on my OPENELEC machines.

Thanks a lot!

It means "trying again to playback a stream". Smile
There is a file "lib/youtube/helper/video_info.py" which defines video type and resolution, but itag 91 is missing.

Where are you get the itag of 91 from? can you give me a sample URL. I'd like to take a look.

Thanks
Jeff

This url, it's too long.

<your ip address> : change your own ip address

I extract some info from downloaded .ts file on this link and it seems to work.

Code:
# === Live Streams ===
        # to do : itag 91
        '91': {'container': 'ts',
               'Live': True,
               'title': 'Live@144p',
               'sort': [144, 0],
               'video': {'height': 144, 'encoding': 'h.264'},
               'audio': {'bitrate': 48, 'encoding': 'aac'}},
nice. Thanks for the info Wink
Can someone tell me why I cannot seem to see my current subscribed channels and why I cannot seem to able to sign out? I am running the latest version 21 on a PI2 machine and a windows based machine.

Thank you
can you post what the error is from the kodi.log so we can see whats going wrong?

edited: to make it clearer
I guess I need to find the user data since I cannot even sign out. I am having no luck finding that which I guess will bring back my subscriptions
