Hello,

i call:

"http://192.168.178.XX:XXXX/jsonrpc?request={"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"Player.PlayPause","params":{"playerid":0},"id":1}"

to pause musik/video playback in my home-automation system.
The problem is that XBMC wants every time User and Password to be typed in.
Is there any way to access XBMC with Json without User/Password?

Leave the username/password entries blank in xbmc's webserver settings.
