Smart play list: do not all movies
#1
How can I create a flter / smart playlist that does not show movies made in the U.S.A. So, I want XBMC to only show movies produced in each coutry besides of the United States.

A play list like that one - http://i.imgur.com/7okxfMp.png / - does not work.
Rules:
Country is not Uniteted States - http://i.imgur.com/rD1ARgU.png
Country is not U.S.A.

Thats looks right. See http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Smart_playlists if it doesnt work then the movies you have dont define the country where they are made. pull up information on them to see.

Many thanks, uNiversal,

For the link also, yes I have just been there.

Ah yes, may be the movies are not scraped / added to the library properly. I will try again.

Many thanks again.

Its not that they not scraped or added to library, its more they HAVE to contain the Country tag as part of the metadata, at least I think thats it, cause otherwise then its a bug.

Hmmm, actually the country tag should be availabe (in the info, nfo files even when scraped with XBMC), with my other XBMC this countries can be filtered. And I have scraped the movies with another scraper / movie manager which scrape the countries and have it stored in those info files. And since there is this filter option it actually should work, I assume.

Wait, with your other XBMC works adn this one doesnt? Different XBMC version? Platform? OS?

Actually there is no big difference between them, I would say, same XBMC, OS, version, the last one runs in portable mode, much less add ons, but actually I guess, I am missing anything, but what?

Smart playlists only work with items that have been added to the library.

Yes of course, I meant to clarify the country tag must be present no?

In any case I had a look and it works fine here (though Im on Helix). You can also goto Genres, and pick a country, though in default skin I dont think the country flag is visible on the information screen, at least I couldn't find any.
