When I click on a programme the "propellor" appears and then Kodi crashes.  This is on a Moto G7

It's difficult to say what your issue is without more information.

The first place to look would be the Kodi log file.  The location of that will be different depending on what you are running Kodi on.

The fact you got to an item to play suggests the addon is working for you and the issue lies somewhere else.

Best thing to do would be to reproduce the error and then check the last few entries in the log file for the error messages and post them on here.

This is on Android 10 QPo30.52-29. This update was pushed out a few weeks ago.

When I selected a programmer it didn't play the stream, just a few seconds of the whirlygig and then back to the Android app selector.

Hi,

You've got a HTTP Error 403: Forbidden in this log.  I would check your settings and make sure you are using a valid token for Eurosport.

I'm having trouble with the streams pausing frequently at the moment and also yesterday when trying to watch the Giro time trial. I'm assuming it's down to Eurosport not having the bandwidth to support all the streamers who are calling on them. Has anyone else run into this?

Linked to this, here's a question for Steve. Did you get anywhere with finding out why inputstream adaptive wasn't working?

The URL returned from eurosport is a master playlist which then contains the URL's for the individual playlists inside (there may be different playlists for language support / resolution etc)

Inputstream.adaptive was applying parameters from the master playlist to the individual playlist so the URL couldn't be resolved correctly.

The developers at inputstream.adaptive have patched it to work correctly and released an update for Kodi Leia.

I've got to say the developers on the inputstream.adaptive project have been brilliant and resolved any issues in their addon as soon as they could.

Steve, thanks for the info on inputstream. It took me a while to get it going on CoreELEC because for some reason I have to select stream type ism for it to work. Kodi on Firestick 4k doesn't seem.to care.

Streams load way faster now. Once again, thank you for the add-on. I use it a lot.

The settings.xml file hasn't changed since August. I pulled the key from Firefox again and this time there are two, possibly because I had to sign in again.  I will update the key.

With the new key it was just the same.

So I deliberately broke the key by adding ZZZ and restarted kodi.  It doesn't get past the On schedule and On demand screen.

I fixed the key and I can access the Schedule again but when I click on an event it crashes Kodi.

I just updated from Kodi 18.6 to 18.8 and the plug in is working nicely again.

   • Go to "Application" tab

   • Find the "st" cookie

Yeah it looks like the "ism" stream isn't working at the moment.  I'll take a look.  The "hls" stream is still working ok.

Yeah it looks like the "ism" stream isn't working at the moment.  I'll take a look.  The "hls" stream is still working ok.

I've raised this with the inputstream.ffmpegdirect developers but they were unable to help. As a result, I'm going to be removing support for "ism" streams when I next update and default to "hls".

I have a subscription for this month and am trying to see how I can get it working on the TV. I know there's a Kodi app, but it's marked as broken. I'm still using the latest version of Kodi 18 - is it still possible to install it? Does it work?
