Just this weekend I've run into a problem with XBMC. It's not playing the files within a folder in the proper order. It was working fine earlier this week but I started having trouble on Friday night. I can still play all the folders using VLC Media Player and that program plays the files in order with no problem. I've checked the files within the folders and don't see a problem. I just started using XBMC a couple of months ago and, aside from being unable to get Meta Data to work properly with the program, it's done well at playing my library of movies. If it was just me, I'd be happy to just use[/size] VLC Media Player, but XBMC is a lot easier for my young grand-kids to use.

Any ideas in what could be causing this?

either someone changed the sorting type and/or order in the left hand side menu or someone enabled shuffled playback of the playlist in the player controller.

Best would be if you provide a Debug Log while playing one of these files
