I have been running XBMC for a few years now. First on ATV2, now on R-Pi. I've taken the plunge and ordered my first HTPC which will be running win8.
What's the best way to transfer my setup and libraries from an OpenElec based platform to windows. All my media is on a NAS, so folder paths etc won't be an issue.
I know all the SETTINGS folder locations within XBMC will change, but not sure of the extent or anything else tbh.
I'm thinking it might be prudent to take this opportunity and start running Kodi 14 from the get go.
Will it be as simple as copying my userdata folder to the correct location on the windows platform?
Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
