I'm thinking about adding a separate "Charts" folder, so users can get the global charts.

Sadly im not allowd to PM (jet), i even asked a Mod to unlock PM, but he wont, so i write this here in the Tread open:

Danke erstmal für Deine Bemühungen. Leider bekomme ich in den Charts "Top50 : all genres" zur Zeit nicht (wie via Webside) die nicht Lokalisierten Einträge (also die Internationahlen Charts) angezeigt. Falls Du Bock drauf hast, währe Cool auch die Internationahlen Charts anzeigen zu können.
(höre gerne "Dirty south" - Hip-Hop, Trap (nicht den EDM Trap mist), und dafür mag ich eigentlich SoundCloud, da ich dort immer mal wider was neues entdecken konnte. Wofür ich mich leider nicht so begeistern kann ist dieser Deutsche "Proll-Hop", der mir (Da auch ansässig in DACH) nun angezeigt wird.

Währe es ev. möglich die Lokalisierung in den Einstellungen zu deaktivien?, da ich so die Internationahle Variante der Charts zu erhalen scheine. (also das kürzel mit dem Doppelpunkt am ende des Pfades, via Enstellung im Addon weg zu lassen? So alla: Addon Setting: "Show International instead of local Charts"? (Währe ich etwas mehr firm mit Phyton hät ich selbst geschaut ob ich so ne Einstellung hin bekomme, und ob das dann auch tut. (hatte da aber was Mühe mit.))

Für den oben geposteten Webside Link hab ich mal den Endpoint extrahiert, falls benötigt. Denke aber, dass das weglassen des Länderkürzels (via Addoneinstellungen) den selben Effekt haben dürfte.
Endpoint International Charts (Top50, all Genres): https://api-v2.soundcloud.com/charts?kin..._locale=de (Hope i catch the right one, in case it would be needed.)

Das ganze natürlich nur wenn Du Bock drauf hast auch die Möglichkeit zum anzeigen der Internationalen Charts (ev. nur "all genres", oder gar alle in dieser Kathegorie gelisteten Genres inklusive dem "all genres" item.) anzubieten.

Pls dont get that wrong, this Post isnt to stress u! (ur decition at the End if u Like to include such a Feature, i dont bother u if u decide against it.)

hab für den discover/explore endpoint (https://api-v2.soundcloud.com/selections...GLKhmSz0I7) leider keine möglichkeit gefunden, die globalen charts abzufragen. SoundCloud gibt, anhand der IP, automatisch eine lokalisierte antwort zurück... also hilft da eine einstellung leider nichts.

Thanks a lot buddy for picking up the development of this addon. One of my daily addons I use in Kodi. The addon is much more convenient than the official app. I hope you'll be able to fix the login feature.

But I'm glad that I can find my playlists and play music by using the search function.

Hi. Am totally new to kodi but downloaded it today and pleased to see soundcloud available. However after adding it and signing in unable to access site.  It does not sign me in and even using search engine cannot eneeneter. Please help.

Edit- I can use the search etc functions, but tracks will not play, it just sends me to the login screen.

Since the submission to the official Kodi repo is taking a while, I released the second beta version:

• Added global Charts for "Top50" and "Trending" (@TP.One )

Thanks--the latest version fixed my issues. Search etc working and tracks playing.
Appreciate the work going into this, great to be using soundcloud again without having to use a web browser, get out the mouse etc....

Jer, heard already other developer(s) complain about the Time it thakes thil stuff get reviewed.

may it helps to ping @Rechi, as as much as i knew, he does (sometimes?) reviews, else it seems hard to finde out whos responcible. (Didnt check when Rechi was the last Time online), (else i would knew other Repos (an other Repo), which would welcome this Addon. But it would imho. fit better in the official Repo, mainly as it is imho. of global interest, and isnt bounded to a certain language.
