Not yet a BETA, I'm getting bored tracking bugs alone so need you help.
Home customization is working but still some job to do :

- Weather widget
- Some irrelevant labels in home
- Fine tuning list types for PVR (labels adjustments and missing pictures)
- Some rewrites for color tool

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST NEW FEATURES UNTIL BETA IS BUG FREE AND ABOVE LIST IS COMPLETED.

In order to the new KOver works fine please :

- Switch to another skin
- Completely remove/delete previous KOver install
- Completely remove/delete c:/user/MY_NAME/appdata/roaming/KODI/userdata/addon_data/skin.kover folder
- Update KODI to latest nightly (important)
- Install the latest script.skinshortcuts from here : https://github.com/BigNoid/script.skinshortcuts
- Install the latest script.skinhelper from here : https://github.com/marcelveldt/script.sk...er.service
- Finally reinstall KOver from here : https://github.com/Jayz2K/skin.KOver

First start should take some time ... please wait until it's ready.

As previous version, KOver is provided with minimum requirements (1 viewtype for each library section and 3 presets for Home).
It's up to you to build the new ones. YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR PREVIOUS VIEWTYPES.
I haven't yet made a demo.zip or prebuilt viewtypes so don't try to find them in the extras folder. This will come later.

THIS IS A TEST BUILD, DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE 100% RELIABLE AT THIS STAGE.

Gol'darn'it, why'd you have to post this when I'm not in a position to play with it for a few days As you know, I'm a big fan of using the home screen + widgets for most interactions with my system, so I really cannot wait to see what I can achieve with this - the preview video you posted looks amazing! Even before I've played with it, let me congratulate you yet again on pushing the bounds of what is possible with the skinning engine.

(And if you don't get a 'Skilled Skinner' tag to your username soon, then I'm sure I won't be the only one raising issue with Team Kodi!)

Thanks Bob. This is only possible thanks to your mods If you find any issue or improvements using SkinShortcuts, let me know. I hope I'm OK with the new overrides.

I need some more infos Saner,
Which KODI build you downloaded ? AFAIK, the latest is Alpha 4 from November 2nd.

When you tell you don't get fanart to work, is it for background or all (even in blocs ?).
And for viewtypes, are they back to default or just broken ?

I had feedbacks that the startup had broken entries so I fixed it yesterday and updated git.
But if you had it working it should not be the issue.

Some sshots could help me.

Good point Saner. Background should be fixed on git.
What about the viewtypes ?

EDIT : You should also now have "wall/grid" wallpapers thanks to the latest skin.helper release.

I think viewtypes may be me, I am testing it to try and pull a log.

Is always the same when you want something to fail it won't. But if it does and I catch anything meaningful in the log I shall post it.

YW. Sure if you get sommething let me know. I just hope it's a one time bug while migrating. Maybe missing values at reboot or also, please note that Jarvis now saves the values at KODI closing. So if you force close (alt + f4) or if KODI crashes, you loose everything you made.
