Using latest git (3:30PM EST 2/17), with home menu like this how can I have it so that hitting RIGHT to go onto list doesn't disappear the home menu? Well this is intentional. In case a dialog pops up, sidebar will hide it because dialog has a fixed start position. That's why it collapses to avoid navigation issues.

Kover is really extraordinary. It is very flexible and easy to modify and configure. Here is a beginning of my work on creating views with the Builder. Jay created in the skin that I always kept now.

So in trying to keep home menu vertical, I see that the video playback OSD becomes vertical as well, wondering if there's any way to change this? In Designer > Home > Home Layout > General Setup > Layout Orientation, I change that to Horizontal or Vertical, that is changing the OSD. So I can't have vertical menu on home, but keep horizontal OSD in video?

edit: So it's Dialog panel position that sets it, didn't realize that (thought it was only for media info within a viewtype, not the OSD during playback). Some more playing with Designer, I see if I check Keep OSD controls sticking to bottom (in Skin settings), the Menu stays bottom but now the Info dialog is distorted on that: https://anonmgur.com/up/cb4039836263cf76...50684c.png Now if I hit PAUSE and then "i" for info, that first time it shows up correctly: https://anonmgur.com/up/2f79a2c7992bc59f...7c85d3.png Hitting info again goes distorted as previous image.

Two ways to get video in Home :

1 / Set bloc 4 somewhere with VIDEO ON TOP = VISIBLE and VISIBILITY = everything else than HIDDEN
2 / Set blocs background VIDEO ON TOP = VISIBLE and if you're using 3x3 blocs background size, set transparency to the background color or apply a background image with plain transparency if this is just for 1 view.

Honestly, I don't know how to get them. Artwork Downloader only has references for videos ... I heard Martijn is going to push an important Update, so maybe more infos will fall soon.

lol, I get all that, the view is already there but instead of the logo it is displaying the fanart and is set up to display clear art in the designer

..., now lets analyze what the guisetting import does AFAIU(Understand), maybe Jay can clarify, I am a little confused
1. its referencing the images on your computer since it have all your paths in it (this is easy fix when you reference your own images of course)
2. its referencing model1 as the template to use (what this does?, will this be trying to copy the setting to my model1/template1 ?)
3. its referencing CUSTOM6 (dont know if is the custom xml since the custom xml include is Custom3)


and also Jay, when sometime you use the artwork downloader it does this

and stay that way(with that black bar) until reboot kodi or refresh the skin.
you can hear the clicks of the navigation but have that black bar in front of it
