I have a lot of movies in various format. Many of them are managed by tMM, so I have all media info like resolution, audio, subtitles and so on.

But I have a lot of movies in iso format (DVD or BluRay) and tMM cannot extract media info for them.
I don't know if it possible to extract this info from a iso file, but I think it is possibile to add a form to insert manually resolution, audio and so on.

could it be a new feature?

we had to disable it for image files because there were several users, which had problems parsing image files with mediainfo..
But to maintain the mediainfo manually is a nice idea - I will put it to the ToDo list
