You get what you pay for. Anyone who will care about 4k will care about h.265 support, and so far all of the Android boxes that support h.265 are incomplete in that support.

I'm honestly surprised that anyone thinks the Q5 isn't a hassle. I'd gladly have something with better picture quality, proper support, and deal with external players long before ever recommending something like this. We've been down paths like this before, and they typically lead to a dead ends. On any platform, I've never understood why people put up with these half solutions for the sake of formats that should be discouraged.
