Have you tried to FTP changes to your Himedia Q5? I use FTP Server on the Himedia Q5 (downloaded from the Google Play Store) and Captain FTP on my MacPro (which I had for years). I run FTP Server and leave it running in the background on the Himedia Q5 (it does not affect video performance at all). Then I can back up files from the Himedia Q5 and load in whatever changes I need very fast without all of the USB stick fiddling around... just a suggestion.
