I'm using a coolead Q box on 5.1.1 and when searching in the play store Kodi does not show up. I've searched the forums and Googled it but can't seem to find an answer so apologies if this has been posted before. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Perhaps your device is being reported as incompatible for some reason.

You could always sideload it from http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/

I think you may be right as I've just tried using the browser to force it open in the play store and it says "your device isn't compatible with this version" so I think I will have to side load thanks for your reply

Hello, I have the same problem, my android box is 5.1 but when I try to download the latest version of kodi it says my device isn't compatible. I'm just not as techs as you guys and I don't know what side load means or how to do it. Can someone please guide me?
