thanks for taking time to read this hopefully you will be able to help. I have only just got round to installing Gotham 13.2 (i think) after the previous version I have had been working perfectly for the last year. Since I updated the system I now no longer have any audio.
The red mute icon is permanently on in the top right hand corner of the screen. The cabling is fine (i can play iTunes etc ok) the av amp reacts to signal change i.e. going from 2 channel to multichannel mix film.
The output is set to HDMI on the audio menu - I'm running out of options and will also have a very disapointed 3 year old if he can watch his favourite dinosaur films at the weekend!
if any one is able to advise it would be greatly appreciated
