Kyra for Kodi
I don't know if you have used xbmc commander, but in that you just drag your finger down and initially it moves slowly and then faster like your speed scroll pad and the menu button is long press. I thought that was really convenient. Too bad it is not maintained and got pulled off.

Anyhow, where's the context menu in your app? It is really superb in all other aspects!

You can enable the custom button menu bar in the touch2 remote control view. Buttons can be added to the menu bar (Menu -> Settings -> Customize bottom menu bar). A Kodi command button can be configured with the context menu command.

Now that Kyra for Trakt is in beta testing I am busy with an update for Kyra for Kodi.

I have some good news and bad news.

Trakt is no longer supplying images on their end (see https://apiblog.trakt.tv/trakt-api-image....cyhx3ui8a) and this makes the Trakt part in Kyra for Kodi more complicated.
Next to that, Kyra for Kodi is using an old Trakt authentication method and should be renewed to oauth2.

Since I have a better alternative for Trakt I am going to remove support for Trakt from Kyra for Kodi.

Kyra for Kodi is purely for Kodi.....Kyra for Trakt is purely for Trakt.

The good news.....I already started on the first update :-)

The last update was a while ago, but here are the release notes for version 2.2:

- iPad Pro full resolution supported.
- Updated icon to match with other future app (Kyra for Trakt).
- Http command can now be 256 characters long.
- Roomie added to url scheme.
- Dashboard has now a new movie/series info RSS feed (comingsoon.net).
- Bug fixes.

As of version 2.2 Trakt support for the iPad version has been removed (iPhone did not had support), due to the fact Trakt is not hosting images anymore and a very good alternative will become available soon.

I am new to iOS. Sorry if this question have already been asked. But, does Kyra for Kodi (Pro) features the ability to stream from Kodi and playback locally on IPad? I mean, just like the Yatse App does it on Android?

No not currently...
It was in a very early version, but due to the whole Dolby license issue (just like many other iOS apps) it was removed.
As of iOS version 9.3 (I believe) Apple bought the license and it's possible again.

Thanks for replying.

Kyra for Kodi it's a great software. I have bought the pro version.

The only thing really missing it is that.

If that is possible, please add it. It would be a killer feature to stream a title from your Kodi enabled device and playback it locally like Yatse does it on Android.

Currently it's being tested. I think it's a matter of a few weeks now.

Now that Kyra for Trakt is available on the App Store I have some more time again! :-)

Of course I have learned a lot of new stuff for the last 7 months this app took to made. I have added features which I think will be interesting for Kyra for Kodi.
It also gave me some time to think how to continue with Kyra for Kodi.

The following things are on my mind:
- I still want to update the graphics of the current version, which of course take time.
- There's still some new things to be added to the current version.
- I also want to make something entirely new, maybe Kyra for Kodi 2.

And with the last item I am thinking of taking a different approach. Check out this demo from the other app first:

Maybe this personal dashboard should be the main screen of the new app. Everything is done from here.

During the development of Kyra for Kodi (which you can read all about in this thread) I have started to build it the way I thought it should be. I was posting a lot of screen shots and it took quite a while before it was available on the App Store.

My idea:

Create a new app and from the very start and test builds will be available using Apple's TestFlight. It can be used and tested immediately.
Feedback can be given and discussed and will be implemented to be tested again. No more waiting months for it to be available and just looking at screen shots all the time.
We start with a main item (e.g. Movies, Series, Personal Dashboard) and continue from there. Input can be suggestions or screen layouts/graphics like meridius did.

A sort of community build of a new app where I am just doing the coding.

What do you think of this idea?
