Solved Add poster image from URL
#1
Until recently I used Plex, which had this feature. It was very useful to add the poster when scraping failed (or the scraper had no image).

This is my top request.

If I want to manually add a poster, the current steps are: save to the directory of the movie/show (takes many clicks to browse to this location) and then rename the file to poster.jpg, then browse hard drive to choose the image (again it's many clicks).

It's much easier to paste the online URL in a box and it's done.

well, you did many steps too much Wink

a) download the artwork (poster) to your downloads folder
b) in the movie edit screen, click on the poster, click choose file, search the image in the downloads folder (in almost every OS the downloads folder is easily/fast accessible via favourites)
c) save the movie. (every other task like copying/saving as poster.jpg handles tmm)

beside of that, I added this feature request to our to do list
