Linux ATI HD4200 vs ION vs J1800/Q1900

Hi!

I'm seriously confused now, your help would be very much appreciated.
I have a HTPC based on integrated ATI HD4200 with Athlon X2 240. At the moment I'm using MediaPortal on Win7. I'm seriously considering to migrate to Linux, to OpenElec, and to replace my existing hardware with a more power efficient rig.
I'm using DVB-S2 card for LiveTV and it is working very nice for all the HD and SD content. I have a HD Ready 42" Panasonic plasma, so no fullHD, I watch everything at 720p. I watch a lot of sports on LiveTV that are in 1080 (I assume it is 1080i) and the picture is great.

I can get an Atom 330 + ION board for very cheap. But I like the passive cooling and powerful CPU of J1800 or the Q1900.

1) Compared to the HD4200+Athlon X2 240 what I have now, how does the ION and the J1800 or Q1900 compares?
I have a friend with Atom 330 + ION who is very satisfied with that rig using OpenElec and LiveTV for HD channels is also fine.

2) Is the ION stronger for deinterlacing and upscaling as HD4200 is?

3) Is the J1800/Q1900 GPU stronger then HD4200 and ION in every aspect?

If I need the same performances as I have with HD4200 is ION a good choice or J1800 is a better choice?

In terms of upscaling quality, I don't know if ION or J1800 would be stronger and better then HD4200 is.

What are your thoughts on this? I don't mind if ION is an old hardware, if it does the job well.
In terms of audio, I don't need anything better then DTS. The J1800 board I saw don't have SPDIF out, only the more expensive Q1900 hasSad

Thanks!

£104 for brand new chromebox (imported amazon.com) it has a fan but I've kodi doesn't tax the hardware to much and the noise levels are not noticeble.

asus chromebox is the complete deal compared to j1800 q1900
