hi people ... im new on this technology and i have this problem:

the menu TV on Iphone dont show

but on my laptop (macbook) the menu is displayed and i can open the channels.

I used the same settings on both devices, like this instructions:

Assuming you have a running backend, configure the appropriate pvr addon in settings|addons.

Then turn on pvr on settings|livetv.

Voila.

Seems to be working now once I added a different m3u location. Not many of the channels work. Do you have an updated one to use? Thx

I am a first time user of Kodi and I have the same problem, no TV tab on the home page. I have been struggling with this problem for 2 days, I have read everything I can find and followed several config videos on youtube but with no luck.
I have an android M8S box running 15.1 Isengard.
PVR IPTV Simple Client is enabled
I have tried many m3u URL's without success the current one is http://http://file.xbmcmxtv.com/special.m3u
I am using the standard confluence skin.
Any help appreciated.

That url is wrong - HTTP is repeated.

That url is wrong - HTTP is repeated.

That is the way that it was written but I have tried it with just the one http it still doesn't work.

I've spent days trying to get this, I gave up last night but when I turned on this morning there it was

I have two raspberry pi and in one of them live tv is showing on the menu but not on the other one. Any one help me please.

LiveTV will only appear if it is setup and working.

You offer us no information about your setup. So it is impossible to say more.

The setup is like this. in pvr simply iptv or what is the name of it i put in the link to playlist. Like i did on my other Pi. And that's it. It is not more complicated. I activated tv in the settings in kodi. And no tv menu in the home of kodi.

Hi guys,

I have configured the PVR iptv simple client, but the problem is, it doesnt show up on the xbmc home page...

There is only Videos, Programs, settings, Picture...but no LiveTV.

Can anyone help??


cant get bbts live channels...

I solved this by having the TV option set in System/setting/skin

Now after a few days it actually works as intended with the TV-option in the menu.

In Jarvis and earlier there are two things you need to do to get PVR working:

1. Have a PVR addon istalled and configured and enabled. This is controlled in settings|addons

2. In the main settings page there will ALSO be a section for LiveTV (although different skins may call it different names). This is a global control that turns all PVR addons on or off.

In Krypton, you only need to do the first part. PVR is on if there is a correctly installed configured, working enabled PVR addon.
