(I just set my Pictures source to be artwork I have stored on my PC, thats why you see the fanart in the shots above).
1st is the albums which show 4 thumbnails in the "case" and the fanart background is a random photo from that folder, these rotate every few seconds.
2nd shot is what you see when you go into the album to look at the individual photos.
Your wishes have been granted.

one question: is it possible to disable the spinning disc in home menue while playing music or change to a alternative layout? because this makes me nervous :-)
thanks for help in advance!
That is a weird request. For now no alternate layout and if you do not want to see it you can disable Show music information.

Now when a video is playing, and we're browsing addons . We don't need to keep pressing back to return to the video. Link is below if you want to include it in the future.
or just add what's below to the end of your current MyVideoNav.xml:
</control>
<control type="button" id="699" description="Playing">
<enable>Player.HasMedia</enable>
<include>9000SysButtons</include>
<label>$LOCALIZE[16003]</label>
<onclick>fullscreen</onclick>
</control>
That looks like it is from another skin. Can't just copy/paste things.. it should look like this:
Code:<control type="button" id="699">
<description>Enable fullscreen</description>
<include>ButtonCommonValues</include>
<label>$LOCALIZE[244]</label>
<onclick>fullscreen</onclick>
<visible>Player.HasMedia</visible>
</control>
My bad, it worked so i thought it was fine. I deleted my post since you fixed it and have in on github. Thank You
