I believe what I posted is correct because the scrollbar linked by the page control (72) doesn't have any effect on the movement of the list. To prove this I've commented out the entire scrollbar 72 and the action performs in the same manner. What does happen is you can no longer see the scrollbar fade in at the bottom when you scroll quickly plus you can not press the down arrow to permanently have the scrollbar on screen.
There are also no pageup/down controls in the scrollbar so if you do press the down arrow to highlight the scrollbar you can only use the left/right arrows to move 1 item left/right. Pageup/down do not work when the scrollbar 72 has focus.
Lists in other views and skins do not behave like this. For example if you simply increase the height of a vertical list to show 15 items instead of only 8, pageup/down will now move 15 items up and display the next 15.
What line controls the number of items to move on pageup/down? It would be interesting to see how this works as you've explained.
